Brass L80

Designation

Name The value
Designation GOST Cyrillic Л80
Designation GOST Latin L80
Transliteration L80
By chemical elements Л80

Description

Brass L80 is used: for the manufacture of semi-finished products (strips, sheets, strips, tubes, wire); art products; bellows; pressure pipes; flexible hoses; musical instruments; products for various industrial uses.

Note

Simple (double) brass.
Brass L80 very well deformed in a cold state; not prone to stress corrosion cracking.

According to GOST 15527-2004, GOST 2208-2007 the amount of other elements should be ≤ 0.30%. In brass, the mass fraction of nickel is allowed up to 0.30% due to the mass fraction of copper, which is not taken into account in the sum of other impurities. For antimagnetic brass, the mass fraction of iron should not exceed 0.030%.
