Alloy АК5 used: for the production of drawn wire; welding wire Svak5 intended for welding and surfacing.

Chemical composition
Al is the base.
According to GOST 4784-97 the chemical composition is given for the SvA5 alloy. The total mass fraction of Zn + Sn ≤ 0.1%. The mass fraction of each other impurity (not regulated) is ≤ 0.1%, the total mass fraction of all impurities is ≤ 1.10%. The ratio of iron and silicon in the SvA5 alloy should not be more than one. At the request of the consumer, a wire with an iron content of not more than 0.30% is produced from the SvA5 alloy, which is additionally marked with the letter "Y" (SvAK5U).
