Description

Alloy CA4 is used: for molding parts of automobile, tractor, electrical and other industries; casting parts of devices non-critical parts with stable dimensions.

Note

The alloy has good fluidity, good corrosion resistance (but less than the alloy Ca4o).

According to GOST 19424-97 in the alloy for the production of pigs the mass fraction of the main components and specific impurities can be changed by agreement of the consumer with the manufacturer.
According to GOST 25140-93, the mass fraction of copper as an alloying element is allowed up to ≤ 0.10%. At the request of the consumer, the mass fraction of lead should be ≤ 0.006%.
