03Х17АН9 steel is used: for the manufacture of welded equipment operating in environments of increased aggressiveness (nitric acid, nitrate environments, acetic acid, alkaline solutions and salts); heat-exchange equipment, tube bundles; critical parts of car building and construction.

Steel corrosion resistant austenitic class.
Steel 03Х17АН9 has a 1.5 times higher level of strength compared to steel 08KH18N10T.
