10KH18N3G3D2L steel is used: for the manufacture of castings of blades and welded cavitation-resistant parts of the working parts of hydraulic turbines, operating at pressures not exceeding 80 l/h cross sections up to 300 mm; casting parts, steam, gas turbines and axial compressors.
Kavitatsionnogo steel, corrosion resistant austenitic-ferritic class. Steel 10KH18N3G3D2L has a high resistance to sand erosion in comparison with steel stamps 10KH12NDL.

According to GOST 2176-77, the chemical composition is given for steel grade 10Х18Н3Г3Д2Л (0Х18Н3Г3Д2Л). Deviations from the norms of chemical composition are allowed: for carbon ± 0.020%; for silicon ± 0.10%; on manganese, copper, chromium and nickel ± 0.10% each; by titanium and tungsten ± 0.050% each; by vanadium, molybdenum and niobium ± 0.020% each.

|Welding defects||Welding defects of castings after cutting is usually carried out without heating. Welding defects of manual welding is done with electrodes type e-06Х22Н9 (GOST 10052) brand TSL-33. After welding and repair of defects by welding is applied heat treatment.|
