Description

12KH2NVFMA steel is used: for the manufacture of parts and welded structures operating at temperatures up to +450−500 °C.

Note

Alloy structural steel high quality with low carbon content.
Steel 12KH2NVFMA strengthen by heat treatment (quenching in oil with subsequent tempering or normalizing with tempering). Case hardening steel.

According to TU 14-1-1885-85, the chemical composition is given for steel grade 12Х2НВФМА-ВД (ЭИ712М-ВД). At the request of the consumer, bars larger than 30 mm are supplied with a molybdenum content of 0.50-0.70%. In this case the steel is marked EI712A. The presence of titanium up to 0.030% is not a rejection sign. The allowable variation in manganese content in steel is ± 0.010%.
