According to TU 14-1-1562-76, the chemical composition is presented for ingots of steel grade 90 (BP5) made of extremely pure metal smelted on the initial charge in open-hearth furnaces of the Beloretsk Metallurgical Combine. As a first-time blend, special pure iron from the Zigazino-Komarovskoye group of ores, charge mixture (ingots or liquid steel), smelted from pure iron, sponge iron, recycled scrap and rolled rubber, obtained by the production of extremely pure metal is used as the initial charge. Particularly pure steel for the purpose of reducing the content of sulfur, gases and non-metallic inclusions is carried out by out-of-furnace treatment with slag-forming mixtures with argon purge.
