Aluminum Corp. of China (Chinalco) has increased in the first half aluminum output by 35% compared with the same period last year, the company said. The production of alumina increased by 53%.

Occupancy capacity of aluminum production of the company in January-June amounted to 97%, and alumina facilities operated at 92%. At the end of October 2009 these figures were respectively at 88% and 90%.

Chinalco is the largest aluminum producer in China.
