Representatives of JSC «VSW Red October," published data on the levels of implementation of the stainless steel metal in the first 3 months of this year. According to these reports, the Volgograd plant exceeded the performance of the sales department in terms of sales of these products in the same period in 2011 by 44% (the sum of transactions) and 48% by total weight of chromium and nickel shipped stainless steel. In particular, from the warehouses of the «Red October» in the period from January to the end of March this year, more than 6160 tons of corrosion-resistant products were sent, and the total amount of contracts for the metal in this category totaled 758 million rubles.

Executive Director of VMZKO Dmitry Gerasimenko believes that such a significant positive change in the dynamics of enterprise development is due to several factors, among which is crucial improved pricing policy, backed by certain demand for the products of the plant. «Given that we are strictly supervise the quality of the stainless steel, we were able to optimize the prices of its own products, which led to the strengthening of the positions of the plant in an important market for us," — said the development director of «Red October».
