The project involves the acquisition, installation and commissioning of the line forming of steel and aluminum rolled products. The volume of investment will amount to 20 mln. USD. Presumably, the completion of the works will be in the 4th quarter of this year. With the successful implementation of the project of a steel capacity will increase by approximately 70%. This will produce annually about 270 000 tons of forgings. At the moment, customers are offered the steel stamping, rolling, steel and aluminum, exclusively from the warehouse.
Norway does not want to lag behind Germany. Hydro Corporation has launched a project to build a new aluminum rolling production line for the production of car bodies. Established line of Buda at the plant «Grevenbroich», the investment in this will amount to 130 mln. EURO. According to preliminary calculations, the production capacity will increase to 200 000 tons from the current 50 000 tons.
The main products manufactured by the new line will focus on lightweight automotive panels. Their use would reduce the output of carbon dioxide, providing a reduction in fuel consumption. Start of operation of the line will be in the second half of 2016. At the same time jobs will be able to get about 25 people. Also, the corporation intends to invest 45 million.
