Current version of Astm B621 approved December 1, 2006. Published in December 2006. Originally approved in 1977. This specification regulates the production of nickel-iron-chromium-molybdenum alloy (UNS N08320) and its use in corrosive environments.

Sections

5/16 to ¾ inch (7.94 to 19.05 mm) bars, hot or cold ground. Ribs ¾ to 31/2 inches (19.05 to 88.9 mm), hot or cold, annealed or ground.

Quality

According to Astm B621, the surface of the strips must be clean, free of contamination, and smooth, without films, cracks, bubbles, scale, sinks, dents, or scratches. On the surface of the strips are allowed small risks, dents, not exceeding the limit of thickness deviation.

Standardization
