  • As agreed by the parties, sheets may be supplied in standard widths and lengths with a deviation limit of ±15.0 mm.
1.5 The ends of the rod and edges of the sheet
shall be trimmed.
1.6 The surface of the rolled product shall comply with the following requirements.
1.6.1 On the surface of ground rods grinding cracks and dirt are not allowed. Risks, scratches, traces of abrasive scraping that do not lead to the dimensions of the ground rods beyond the tolerances are not rejected.
1.6.2 Cracks and contamination are not allowed on the surface of the ground bar. Impressions, risks, scratches, traces of abrasive scraping, which do not bring the dimensions of the turned bars outside the tolerance limits, are not rejecting features. 1.6.3. 1.6.3 Cracks are not allowed on the surface of unsharpened bars and forgings. Dross residues, dirt, prints, risks, scratches, and traces of abrasive scraping, which do not take the dimensions of unsharpened bars and forgings beyond the permitted tolerances, are not considered to be rejecting features. 1.6.4 The surface must be etched. Cracks, delamination and foreign inclusions shall not be allowed on the surface. Rolled prints, sinks, traces of abrasive scraping, not withdrawing the thickness of the sheets beyond the tolerance limit, as well as rippling, etching shades, dirt spots, scratches and discoloration are not rejected features.
1.7 Bars, forgings and sheets shall be supplied in an untempered condition. By agreement with the manufacturer, sheets with a thickness of 0.8 mm can be delivered in annealed condition.
1.8 Molybdenum sheets with thickness (1.0-6.0) mm shall not have internal delamination (requirement - optional, controlled by agreement with the manufacturer).
1.9 Deviation from flatness along the rolling direction shall not be more than 10.0% of the sheet length. The deviation from flatness across the rolling direction shall not be more than 5.0% of the sheet width.
. 1.10 The mechanical properties of sheets with thickness (1,0-2,0) mm and bars with diameter (8,0-30,0) mm should meet the following requirements.
Sheets with thickness of Tensile strength, MPa (kgf/mm2) Relative elongation after break, %, no less than
from 1.0 to 2.0 mm not less than 686 (70) 15,0
Rods with diameter: Tensile strength, MPa (kgf/mm2) Relative elongation after break, %, no less
8.0 to 14 mm 666 (68)-960 (98) 14,0
15 to 30 mm 631 (68)-931 (95) 14,0

The mechanical properties of 0.8 mm thick annealed sheets must meet the following requirements:

  • time resistance - 686 (70)-1078 (110) MPa (kgf/mm2);
  • relative elongation - not less than 10.0%.
