1.1 Measured billets of molybdenum of MCh and MCVP grades (hereinafter - Billets) must comply with the requirements of these technical specifications.

1.5 The edges of the blanks must be chopped or trimmed. Flaking on the edges of blanks, arising after trimming, allowed for the width of 2.5 mm, the length - 5.0 mm, and is not a defective feature. By agreement with the consumer blanks thickness over 2.0 mm delivered without chipping edges. 1.6.
1.6 The surface of the blanks must be cleaned from the oxide film or degreased. As agreed with the customer, traces of technological grease are allowed on the surface of workpieces.
1.7 Cracks and splitting on the surface of the workpieces are not allowed. Impressions rolls, pricks, indentations, scratches, traces of scraping, not withdrawing the thickness beyond the allowable deviations, etching tints are not a defective feature.
1.8 Billets shall be manufactured with the following flatness tolerances: the deviation from flatness along the rolling direction (deflection) shall be not more than 10% of the measured billet length; the deviation from flatness across the rolling direction (corrugation) shall be not more than 5% of the measured billet width. The overall waviness of the billets is not a rejection feature.
