Description

Brass LC16K4 used: for the manufacture of castings of complex configuration parts, fixtures and fittings operating at temperatures to +250 °C and exposed to hydrovodone testing; casting parts for shipbuilding, marine engineering and instrumentation, working in the sea water while providing cathodic protection (gear, parts of friction units); casting parts of valves and actuators to it.

Note

Brass siliceous.

Zn is the basis.
According to GOST 17711-93 and OST 5P.9209-82, the total amount of impurities should be ≤ 2.5%. Impurities not specified are taken into account in the total amount of impurities. The mass fraction of nickel in brass is allowed at the expense of copper and is not included in the sum of impurities. Upon agreement of the manufacturer with the consumer, the mass fraction of aluminum is allowed up to 0.10% in the manufacture of parts that do not require hydraulic density.
