Description

Alloy 06Х20Н10М3Д3С4Л applies: for casting rods and electrodes welding rods diameter 4, 5 and 6 mm, used for argon arc and TIG welding (at least 5 mm without allowance for machining) of the sealing and rubbing surfaces of parts of pipeline fittings from alloy 06HN28MDT (ЭИ943) and became 07Х20Н25М3Д2ТЛ.

Note

Wear-resistant steel.
The electrodes, irrespective of the date of their manufacture, prior to launch into production shall be subjected to calcination for 2 hours at a temperature of 450 °C. calcination of the electrodes can be made not more than 3 times that should be recorded.
Before welding the parts must be subjected to preliminary heating in a furnace at a temperature of from +400 to +650 °C.

According to RD RTM 26-07-233-79 in the table the chemical composition for the alloy used for making rods for argon-arc surfacing is given. In bars intended for the manufacture of electrodes, the silicon content should be within the range of 3.60-5.50%. The chemical composition of the weld metal should correspond to: C≤0.08%, Si = 4.60-5.50%, Cr = 19.0-24.0%, Ni = 10.0-14.0%, Cu≤2 , 00-2.60%, Mo = 2.30-3.10%, Co = 0.50-1.00%.
