Description

Alloy AB is used: for the manufacture of drawn wire; helicopter blades, stamped and forged parts of complex configuration, production of profiles with cross-sectional area of 200 cm2 and a diameter of circumcircle up to 350mm suitable for use in the aviation industry and special machine building industries; extruded large pipes.

According to GOST 4784-97, the mass fraction of each other impurity (not regulated) ≤ 0.05%, the total mass fraction of other impurities ≤ 0.10%.
According to OST 1 92014-90 the chemical composition is given for the alloy grade AVCH. For the AWB alloy, the mass fraction of copper ≤ 0.10%, magnesium = 0.40-0.90%, manganese ≤ 0.20%, zinc ≤ 0.20%, iron ≤ 0.30%, silicon = 0.40 -0.75%, titanium ≤ 0.15%. For alloy grades АВч and АВп, the mass fractions of each other impurity (not regulated) ≤ 0.05%, the total mass fraction of other impurities ≤ 0.10%.
