Alloy MNZH5-1

Designation

Name The value
Designation GOST Cyrillic МНЖ5-1
Designation GOST Latin MHZh5-1
Transliteration MNG5-1
By chemical elements CuNiFe5-1

Description

Alloy MNZH5−1 is used: for the manufacture of semi-finished products (sheets, pipes, bars, wires); pipes and piping details; details of electrical equipment and instrumentation; cold-deformed pipes for the manufacture of condensers and heat exchangers used in perturbation; and cold-rolled tubes, designed for the shipbuilding industry; round welding wire and welding rods round drawn and extruded with a diameter from 3.0 mm to 5.0 mm, for the manufacture of electrodes for welding copper-Nickel alloy between itself and the brass and aluminum-magnesium bronze.

Cu is the basis.
According to GOST 492-2006, the total mass fraction of impurities is ≤ 0.70%. In the alloy, the mass fraction of cobalt ≤ 0.50% is allowed due to the mass fraction of Ni + Co, which is not taken into account in the total amount of impurities. The mass fraction of cobalt exceeding 0.50% is taken into account in the total amount of impurities. In the alloy, the mass fraction of lead is allowed to be ≤ 0.050%.
