Description

Alloy 96 SRM is used: to manufacture and discontinuous sliding contacts, electrical conductors and other products for industrial purposes; items of tableware (spoons, forks, knives, coasters, dishes, blades, shovels, cups, glasses, sugar bowls, tea strainer); ritual and ceremonial items (wedding rings, crosses); jewellery for personal adornment (rings, rings, medallions, pendants, brooches, chains, bracelets, pins, cufflinks); cigarette cases and cigarette holders; commemorative medals and badges.

Note

Alloy silver-copper. With the increase of copper content in the alloy increases its hardness, but alloy becomes yellowish. The oxygen in the alloy increases the hardness and fragility.

According to GOST 30649-99 the chemical composition is given for the jewelry alloy YUSRM 96 (YUSPR 960). The sum of the normalized impurities is ≤ 0.10%.
