Weldability Welded all types of welding. The most favorable from the point of view of getting the best viscosity and plasticity are manual arc welding and automatic submerged arc welding with a cooling rate of 20 °C/s.
Pressure treatment The temperature of forging: start - 1150 °C, the end - 850 °C. the Steel is easily worked both hot and cold conditions.
Features of heat treatment The recommended heat treatment of steel: hardening in air or in water from 900 °C.
Corrosion resistance Steel 04Х15СТ stable (2-3 corrosion resistance) in solutions of nitric, citric, acetic, oxalic acids at room temperature and in weak solutions of sodium chloride and acetic acid at the boiling point.
