Weldability Steel is welded without restrictions. To repair joints of NPP equipment recommended by the manual argon arc welding with non-consumable electrode (filler or without filler material), allowed the use of manual arc welding with coated electrodes. For repair of equipment in the limited time of stay of the personnel used manual arc welding with covered electrodes and combined welding methods. To improve the overall corrosion resistance of welded assemblies and relieve residual stresses applied on the hardened air from 950-1050 °C (aged for at least 2.5 minutes/mm of maximum wall thickness, but not less than 1 hour).
Features of heat treatment Steel products to eliminate the tendency to intergranular corrosion are subjected to hardening regime: heating to 1050±25 °C, exposure during heating for quenching for products with wall thickness up to 10 mm - 30 min, over 10 mm — 20 min + 1 min per 1 mm max thickness cooling in water or air. Products austenite-ferritic steels do not require heat treatment after welding.
The tendency to intergranular corrosion Satisfactory resistance to intergranular corrosion.
