Description

18Х13Н3 steel is used: for the manufacture methods of hot and cold deformation and machining of various parts with high ductility for aircraft and instrumentation, exposed to shock loads and working at temperature to 450−500 °C; products exposed to slightly aggressive media at room temperature.

Note

Steel corrosion-resistant martensitic class.

According to TU 14-1-2139-77, the following deviations in chemical composition in finished products are allowed, provided that the mechanical properties are satisfied: chroma ± 0.20%, nickel ± 0.30%. Since 01.01.1991 steel is not allowed to be used in newly created and modernized machinery. At the request of the customer, steel 18H13N3 can be supplied with a content of 0.15-0.19% carbon, which is specified in the order.
