Description

30KHMA steel is used: for the production of forgings for General purpose rotors and disks of steam turbines, flanges, gears, shafts, axles, pins, nuts, bolts and various other parts operating at temperatures up to 450−500°C; details of pipeline valves by conducting the heat treatment; tubes for plants of chemical and petrochemical plants with nominal pressure PN=19.6−98 MPa (200−1000 kgf/cm2); pipes, designed for pipes in installations for the production of ammonia with a working pressure of PN=31 MPa (320 kgf/cm2); seamless pipes for the fabrication of parts and structures in motovelotehnika; wire intended for the manufacture of rivets and bolts by cold heading.

According to TU 14-161-149-94, the chemical composition is given for steel grade 30ХМА for casing pipes and couplings for them of hydrogen sulfide-resistant and cold-resistant ones.
