Description

40KH10S2M steel is used: for the manufacture of valves of aircraft engines, automobile and tractor diesel engines, fasteners engines.

Note

Steel heat-resistant and heat-resistant martensitic class.
Has high mechanical properties up to 600 °C, however, prolonged exposures at 500 °C and especially at 600 °C the impact strength is sharply reduced to 150 kJ/m2.
Temperature intense scaling in air +850 °C.
Stable in sulfur-containing environments.
