Description

60Х13С steel is used: for the manufacture of precision instrument bearings, with a high degree of reliability and durability and providing stable output characteristics of products during long-term operation; high-speed (400000 min-1) ball bearings for dental turbine handpieces; instrument bearings.

Note

Stainless steel with a normalized size of the carbides.
Steel is a substitute of steel 110Х18М (110Х18М-SM).

According to TU 14-19-106-90 the chemical composition is given for steel grade 60Х13С-ЩД. Cerium, zirconium and calcium are introduced into the metal by calculation without taking into account the burn and chemical analysis is not determined. The residual mass fraction of vanadium and titanium in the steel is not more than 0.20% of each molybdenum, not more than 0.30%. Deviations from established norms of chemical composition are allowed in accordance with GOST 5632, and for chrome + 0.50%.

Macrostructure and pollution In the macrostructure should not be residues shrinkage, porosity, subcortical bubbles, cracks and foreign metal and slag inclusions, crusts, visible without using the magnifying devices. Allowable defects of the macrostructure should not exceed the Central porosity, point heterogeneity, liquation 1 points. Micropozzetti not allowed. The contamination of non-metallic inclusions have to be for bars to 25.5 mm: oxides and sulfides is not more than 1.0 points for each parameter; silicates, globular inclusions and spot on - not more than 2.0 points for each parameter. For bars more than 25.5 mm as: oxides, sulfides and spot on - not more than 2.0 points for each parameter; silicates and globular inclusions is not more than 3.0 points for each parameter.
Microstructure Bars t/a (Hardening + Machining CodeDOM + Tempering) martensite melkochristalliceski; the amount of residual austenite 12,0-12,2; the average size of excess carbides 13 µm; carbide inhomogeneity of 1.0 to 2.0. For hot-rolled bars bezoperatsionnogo allowable depth of a layer should correspond to GOST 5950, for bars with special surface finish decarburization is not allowed. The supplier is allowed to guarantee for bars with special surface finish, the absence of bezoperatsionnogo layer without carrying out tests. Carbide heterogeneity for bars with diameter up to 25 mm inclusive not exceed a score of 2.0; for bars with diameter over 25 mm - 3.0 points. The average size of large carbides in the rods to 20 mm diameter shall not exceed 13 µm. Bars with the diameter more than 20 mm norm is established after data is accumulated. Carbide heterogeneity on estimate of steel samples heat treated in mode: Heat to 830-850 °C (exposure for 15 minutes) + Heating to 1070-1110 °C (heating time of 1.5 minutes at 1.0 mm maximum cross section, but not less than 4 minutes) + Quenching in oil + cold Treatment at minus 70 °C or minus 80 °C for an hour + Vacation at 400-420 °C (maintained for 5 hours). It is possible to expose the samples to the cold processing.
