Description
Steel CHS 116-ID is used: for the production of round bars with special surface finish (wire) with diameter from 1.3 to 2.45 mm, used for the manufacture of parts of nuclear power equipment.

According to TU 14-173-78-97, the chemical composition is given for steel grade CHS116-ID. The technological additions of magnesium (up to 0.030%) and cerium (up to 0.050%) are introduced by calculation and chemical analysis are not determined. Admissible deviations in the content of elements in the finished metal: carbon +0.0050%, sulfur +0.0020%, phosphorus +0.0030%, nitrogen + 0.5050%. As agreed by the parties, it is allowed to change the content of manganese.
