Exports of copper and nickel remained stable

According to the Federal Customs Service, in January-August of this year, 2.224 million tons of crude aluminum totaling $ 4.028 billion were exported from Russia, including in the CIS countries sent 2.204 million tons worth $ 3.987 billion, to the CIS countries — 24 thous. m for $ 41 million.

Overall, export volumes of copper and nickel remained at the level of January-August 2009, and aluminum — fell by 2.3%.
