An anti-dumping investigation on Chinese stainless steel will extend for another six months

The investigation in the case of dumping of Chinese stainless pipe producers, imported into the territory of the Customs Union (CU), will continue for another six months. This Representatives of specialized media reported on the domestic market protection department of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) — the regulatory body of the Common Economic Space (CES) and the states of the Customs Union.

The investigation referred to above, was initiated by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia a little over 11 months ago — at the end of November 2011. Then, for the initiation of ADR procedures in the Ministry of Industry asked several operators in the Russian market of stainless steel pipes — Company «Pervouralsk New Pipe Plant», «TMK-INOX», «Chelyabinsk TK» and «SinTZ» (Sinara production unit «TMK»). Under the «sight» of local producers got Chinese products under the code of the commodity nomenclature TC 7304410009 — cold-seamless tube of stainless steel with a chromium content of 10.5 percent or more (analogue GOST 9941−81). According to data provided by the applicants, the size of the dumping margin for this product from the manufacturers from China amounted at the time to monitor the situation (in 2010−2011) of 38.5%.
