Inconel 625 is a non-magnetic corrosion-resistant nickel alloy. It has high strength and hardness in the range of temperatures from cryogenic to 1093 degrees C. Inconel 625 is derived mainly from solid inclusions of refractory metals, niobium, molybdenum chromium-nickel matrix. Inconel 625 has excellent resistance to fatigue and stress corrosion cracking to chloride-ions.

Typical applications for Inconel 625 include: thermal shields, heating equipment, gas turbine engines, combustion chamber liners and their nozzles, the chemical industry and special application in sea water.

Inconel® 625 in the form of inconel® sheet and inconel® plate is supplied with a thickness of 0.25 to 20 mm. The high content of chromium and nickel allows products to withstand a temperature of more than 1000 ºC, does not lose high resistance to acid and aggressive environments. Rolled sheet of high-temperature steel can have a thickness of 1 mm depending on the conditions of use of the products.

Inconel strip and inconel foil in coils supplied large-format sizes up to 610 mm wide. Inconel 625 plates are supplied up to 100 mm thick.

Inconel® 625 rod and inconel® bar come in the form of forgings of up to 200 mm in diameter. Circles larger sizes can be made to order. inconel® wire represents the metal rod inconel with a circular cross section. Usually range of alloy steel is produced in coils. The accuracy of the inconel® rod and inconel bar may be marked with the letters A, B and c, which stands for high, high and normal accuracy of manufacturing of the product.
