Characteristics

Magnetically soft precision alloy 49K2F (49K2FA-V, EP207) serves for production of electromagnets, pole cores, lugs, solenoids. It is produced as a hot-rolled sheet, cold-rolled band and wire, forged circle. It is magnetic material. According to GOST 19 693-74 coercive power of induction, not more than 4 kA/m. Magnetized to saturation in weak fields due to the presence of cobalt in the composition. Similar alloys with good magnetic permeability and minimum coercive force are used for the manufacture of transformers, radio and electrical equipment, automation and telemechanics systems of measuring equipment.

Production

Magnetically soft alloys are melted on the basis of super-pure iron, ferromagnetic, low-carbon unalloyed and siliconized steels. The basis of low-coercive precision alloys are iron and nickel, powder composite ferroalloys. Smelting takes place in special metallurgical furnaces using especially pure charge mixture and after cooling the ingots are subjected to forging or rolling.

Application

Manufacturing of transformers, computer memory components, microphone cores, magnetic cores for marine applications, magnetic antennas etc. Used in the field of innovative technologies, precision machine tool building, for the production of precision electronic devices, household appliances, laser optics, in the production of metrology equipment.
