VT1-2 - titanium grade 4 circle, rod, sheet
Brand VT1−2 serves as a basis for the production of various alloys. Particular practical value have the borides of titanium — compounds used in nuclear boilers to slow down the chain reaction, due to the refractoriness and a wide cross-section of neutron capture. The halides of titanium, oxides and silicides are used in the technique of high temperatures. Carbides having a high hardness, are part of the tool alloys used in abrasive material, edges of cutting tools.
