Production

Chemical composition of LO62 grade is regulated by GOST 15 627-2004. Alloy consists of the following components: main part is copper - 61 - 63%, zinc - 35,6 - 38,3%. The alloying additives are listed in descending order. Tin 0.7 - 1.1%, lead and iron - 0.1% each, phosphorus - up to 0.01%, antimony - up to 0.05%, bismuth 0.002%, impurities - no more than 0.3%. The alloy is melted at t ° 906 ° C, processed at t ° 700 - 780 ° C, annealed at 550 - 650 ° C. The rod is produced semi-hard and pressed GOST 2060- - - - - 2006, hot- and cold-rolled strip GOST 931-90. Also manufactured are bars, strips, plates, tubes for condensers and heat-exchange equipment.
