Production and use
Steel 10H17N13M3T (ЭИ432) is a high-alloy austenitic. Production is regulated by the following GOST: 18 143−72; 5632−72; 18 907−73; 5949−75; 7350−77; 25 054−81; 9940−81; 9941−81. This steel is used in welded structures operating in contact with acetic, phosphoric acid and other environments of increased aggressiveness. It is inert in solutions of 50% NaOH and 100 °C, is one of the main materials, equipment for the production of ethanolamines.

Guests 18 143−72, 5582−75, 5949−75, 7350−77 provide resistance control 10H17N13MZT steel to intergranular corrosion methods AM and AMU GOST 6032−89 after annealing at t° 650 °C for 1 hour. This steel has a corrosion rate of 0.1 mm/year in 10% formic acid up to 100 °C; 50% citric acid at boiling t º; 5−25% H2S04 to 75 °C; 50% acetic acid up to 100 °C and 80% up to 80 °C 25% boiling H3P04 and 40% H3P04 at t º 100 °C. Mo decreases the resistance to intergranular corrosion in oxidizing environments gives the steel type 17−13−2 (3) high resistance against pitting corrosion in chlorine-containing environments, when compared with CR-Ni-marks of the type 18−10.
The optimum temperature of hot deformation 1200−850°C; for the melts that contain 5-ferrite, the temperature beginning deformation is reduced. This steel allows a high degree of cold deformation.
Well welded, gas and electric, manual, automatic, and electric arc welding. For manual arc welding the electrodes used VAW-13, NIAT-1 EA-400/10U; for automatic — wire SV-06Х19Н10МЗТ and SV-04Х19Н11 in combination with fluxes an-26, ANF-6 and ANF-14.
