Evek GmbH offers to buy at an affordable price from the manufacturer bars, rounds, forgings, which are made of tool alloy steel grades X12, X210Cr12 (1.2080), NS11. The supplier provides strict conformity of dimensions and profiles, the timely transportation of products to the point set by the customer is guaranteed.

Chemical composition

Tool alloy steel of X12 grade belongs to the group of stamping steels designed for cold deformation tools. In CIS countries this steel is produced in accordance with GOST 5950 specifications. The chemical composition of steel is as follows:

  • Carbon, % - 2.00...2.20;
  • Silicon, % - 0,15...0,35;
  • Manganese, % - 0,15...0,40;
  • Chromium, % - 11,50...13,00.

The content of metallurgical impurities - sulfur and phosphorus, available in steel after its melting should not exceed 0,3 %.

The closest foreign analogue of this steel is steel grades X210Cr12 (1.2080) and NC11. The X210Cr12 (1.2080) is produced in Europe under the ISO 4957 standard and has the same composition as X12, while Polish steel mills produce similar steel under the NC11 brand. Its chemical composition is given in the table below:

Element Carbon Carbon Carbon, silicon Chrome Nickel, copper Molybdenum, tungsten Vanadium
Percentage content in steel 0,80...2,10 0,15...0,40 0,15...0,45 11,0...13,0 0.35 maximum Not more than 0.20 Not more than 0.15

Limitations on impurities are the same as for the other grades.

Company Evek GmbH offers to get forged bars, rounds or forgings made of Х12, X210Cr12 (1.2080), NС11 alloy tool steels at a good price from the manufacturer. The supplier guarantees compliance with the range of supply, provides prompt delivery of the metal at the address specified by the customer.

Properties and application

Steels of the considered grades are characterized by increased wear resistance, and the presence of tungsten, molybdenum and vanadium contributes to a certain increase in strength characteristics. The main area of application of X12, X210Cr12 (1.2080) and NS11 steels is production of working parts of punching dies with increased precision and complex configuration, heavy-loaded calibration and cold heading tools at working pressures not exceeding 1500...1700 MPa.

The physical and mechanical properties of these steels are in the following ranges:

  • Tensile strength, MPa - 2700...2900;
  • Hardness after hardening, HRC - 59...63;
  • Impact toughness, kJ/m2 - 65...75;
  • Elastic modulus, GPa - 190...210;
  • Poisson's ratio - 0.27 ... 0.30.

Evek GmbH offers to buy bars, rounds or forgings of tool alloy steels X12, X210Cr12 (1.2080), NS11 at producer price. The supplier provides timely delivery of products to the point specified by the customer.
