Red brass

Technical Characteristics

Brass that contains a minimum percentage of zinc is called red brass, and brass that contains 20 -36% Zn is called yellow brass. Zinc is a cheaper material than copper, so its introduction into the alloy reduces the cost of the finished product. Grade L96 is distinguished by the maximum content of copper.
