Advantages of brass pipes

High corrosion resistance, plasticity, accessibility to any type of machining: soldering, low-temperature welding. They are easy to install, demonstrate high resistance to corrosion, wear resistance. Brass pipes look very attractive and belong to the prestigious materials.

Production

Brass - is an inexpensive complex alloyed copper-zinc alloy. Production of brass pipe is regulated by the following GOSTs: 11 383-75, 2624-77, 494-90, 24 301-93, 21 646-2003, 617-2006 and GOST R 51 573-2000. Brass grades are used the composition of which is defined by State Standards 15 527-70 and 24 301-93. The marking reflects the category of the alloy specifications, method of production, state of the material, etc. Production accuracy in terms of dimensions can be high, elevated, normal.

Classification

According to manufacturing method: pipes are cold-rolled, drawn (D); pressed or hot-deformed (H). According to specification: general purpose pipes (GOST 494-90); thin-walled drawn pipes (GOST 11 383-75). In terms of material grade: tubing soft (M); increased plasticity (L); quarter-hard (H); semi-hard (H); increased plasticity semi-hard (I); tubing hard after low-temperature annealing (T). Accuracy of production: high (H); increased (P); normal (N). Special conditions: increased curvature accuracy (T); high precision (K); increased plasticity (L); antimagnetic brass tubes (A); pressed billet (G); welded billet ©. billet any (P). By cross-sectional shape: round pipes (CR).

Application

Brass pipes are used in the installation of engineering systems and decorative structures. They are used to create gauge springs, water pipes, sectional radiators, furniture fittings , etc. The sphere of their use is very extensive: instrument engineering, machine building, defense industry, energy, construction and housing and communal services.
