Titanium circle has circular cross section and solid profile. It is produced both from pure titanium VT1−0, and from titanium alloys VT3−1, VT6, VT14, VT20, VT16, OT4, VT23, PT3 V with chemical composition according to OST 1 90 013−81 or GOST 19 807−74. Sampling for determination of chemical composition standardizes GOST 24 231−80. Titanium wheel production methods depend on scope: pressing, forging, transverse helical rolling (PVP) or high-quality rolling according to following standards. Hot rolled titanium bar with non-turned surface (OST 1 90 173−75, GOST 26 492−85); rods mechanically calibrated and ground (OST 1 90 201−75); VT16 wheel for production of fasteners by turning and hot heading (OST 1 90 202−75); forged rods (OST 1 90 107−73); pressed (OST 1 92 020−82); large titanium rods that are produced by rolling forged billets (OST 1 90 266−86); circle for shipbuilding (OST 1 92 062−90); rolled rods from titanium alloys of general purpose (TU 1−83−21−79). Surface of circle can be polished as well as turned. Circle may be of superior quality or normal. In first case, it is marked with letter «P» for example: OT-4.P.
