The corrosion resistance of the alloy
Mark HN40MDB-VI according to TU 14−1-2131−77 is resistant to intergranular corrosion by the method of GOST BY 6 O32−89. Before the test, the sample is heated to 700 ° C (20 minutes). When tested by methods AM, MCA (G0ST 6032−89) alloy exhibits resistance to intergranular corrosion after heating to 550−950 ° C 95 hours, and the slave method GOST 6032−89 after heating for two hours at 800 ° t ° C. The alloy is not prone to stress corrosion cracking in boiling 42% MgCl solutions or 50% H 2 SO 4.
