It is a heat-resistant high-alloy chromium-nickel steel of austenitic-ferritic class. It is used for manufacturing of such rolled metal products as rounds, rods, wires. It contains 19-22% Cr, 12-15% Ni. As an additive to the charge 2-3% silicon, up to 1.5% manganese, 0.3% copper, 0.2% each titanium and carbon, thousandths of a percent phosphorus and sulfur are used.

Production

Calibrated steel rod grade 20Х20Н14С2 produced according to the following GOST: 7417-75, 8559-75, 8560-78, Grinded rod and silver - GOST: 14 955-77. Forgings and forged blanks - GOST: 1133-71, 25 054-81. Forging temperature - 1170 ° C at the beginning of the process and 850 ° C at the end. The cross-section of long products can be round, hexagonal, square. Curvature is measured on products over 1 meter in length, with a measure taken at least 15 centimeters from the ends of the product. The maximum length deviation should not be more than 3 centimetres at length up to 4 metres, 5 centimetres at length up to 6 metres and 7 centimetres at length over 6 metres. The quality of the steel allows the production of products from 1 to 6 meters, The lower the carbon content of the alloy and the lower the quality of the steel itself, the greater the minimum length of the dispensed product.

Application
