Evek GmbH offers to buy at an affordable price from the manufacturer sheets, strips, which are made of tool alloy steel grades X12, X210Cr12 (1.2080), NC11. The supplier provides strict conformity of dimensions and profiles of rolled products, guarantees their timely transportation to the address specified by the customer.

Chemical composition

Tooling alloy steel X12 is part of the group of stamping steels, which are used to produce tools for cold deformation. Production of this steel in CIS countries is carried out in accordance with technical requirements of GOST 5950. The chemical composition of the steel includes:

  • Carbon - 2.00...2.20%;
  • Silicon 0.15...0.35%;
  • Manganese - 0.15...0.40%;
  • Chrome - 11,50 ... 13,00%.

The percentage of nonmetallic impurities - sulfur and phosphorus in the finished product shall not exceed 0.3%.

Foreign European counterparts of steel X12 are steels X210Cr12 (1.2080) and NC11. Steel X210Cr12 (1.2080) is produced according to the standard ISO 4957 and has the same chemical composition as steel X12. In Poland, similar steel is produced under the brand NC11. Its composition has a number of differences:

Component C Si Mn Cr Ni, Cu Mo, W V
Content in steel, % 0,80...2,10 0,15...0,40 0,15...0,45 11,0...13,0 Up to 0.35 Up to 0.20 Up to 0.15

Limitations on impurities - sulfur and phosphorus - the same as for other grades.

The company Evek GmbH offers to get at bargain prices from the manufacturer a sheet or strip, which are made of tool alloy steels X12, X210Cr12 (1.2080) or NS11. The supplier ensures compliance with the product range of supply of flat products, guarantees the prompt transportation of products to the address specified by the customer.

Properties and application

Steels X12, X210Cr12 (1.2080) and NS11 are characterized by increased resistance to wear, with the presence of tungsten, molybdenum and vanadium providing some strength. Therefore the steels are used for manufacturing of working parts for punching and punching cold sheet die forging, embossing tools, cutting-off knives, and also cold heading punches and dies, working pressures on which do not exceed 1600...1700 MPa during exploitation.

Physical and mechanical characteristics of steels after quenching and tempering:

  • ultimate bending strength - 2700...2900 MPa;
  • Hardness after quenching - 59...63 HRC;
  • Impact toughness - 65...75 kJ/m2;
  • Young's modulus - 190...210 GPa;
  • Poisson's ratio - 0.27 ... 0.30.

Buy a bargain price from the manufacturer of sheet or strip of tool alloy steels brands X12, X210Cr12 (1.2080), NC11 offers the company Evek GmbH. The supplier provides prompt delivery of rolled sheet to the address set by the customer.
