Relevance

The wire is made from nickel-based alloy KhN75MBTU (also found another name of the alloy - EI602). It is an indispensable component in the manufacture of parts of equipment operating at high temperatures: parts of combustion chambers, welding electrodes, resistance units of electrical installations. CrN75MbTu welding electrodes and wire are used for surfacing of parts and welding of various metal structures in mechanical engineering.

Advantages of

This alloy has a density of 8.3 g/cm³ and refers to chromium-nickel-molybdenum alloys (Cr - Ni - Mo). It has high resistance in a wide range of corrosive environments. The ultimate short-term strength of the alloy is 900-930 MPa. Balanced content of basic and additional alloying elements of the alloy (W, Nb, Fe, etc.) guarantee a high level of corrosion resistance in difficult operating conditions. For prolonged use the recommended t° 950 °C. The alloy's heat resistance makes it possible to reach the maximum operating temperature of up to 1050 °C for a short period of time. Above 1050-1100° C, scale starts to form intensively in the air. In a number of qualities this steel is superior to similar grades. At temperature of 20 °C the wire KhN75MBTU has the following mechanical properties:

  • the ultimate short-term strength is 930 MPa;
  • ultimate tensile elongation at break - 47%;
  • yield strength (yield strength for permanent deformation) equals 400 MPa;
  • Relative contraction is 37%;
  • Heat treatment is carried out by hardening method at temperatures from 1050 to 1080 °C with cooling in the air.

The physical properties of the material from which the wire is made are as follows:

  • modulus of elasticity of the first kind is equal to 1.37 MPa;
  • coefficient of thermal (linear) expansion (temperature range at 20°C) equals 18.1 1/Grad;
  • The coefficient of thermal conductivity (heat capacity of the material) is 24.4 W/(m-grad);
  • the density of the alloy is 8.3 g/cm³,
