Evek GmbH offers to buy rolled sheets - sheets, strips, which are made of tool alloy steels X, 102Cr6 (1.2067) or Stal 52100. The supplier sells rolled metal products at economical producer prices. The fulfillment of the product range and prompt transportation of products to the address specified by the customer is provided.

Chemical composition

X steel is produced in CIS countries in accordance with GOST 5950 specifications. It belongs to the group of steels of deep hardenability, and is characterized by the following chemical composition:

  • Carbon, % - 0.95...1.10;
  • Silicon, % - 0,15...0,35;
  • Manganese, % - 0,15...0,49;
  • Chrome, % - 1.30...1.65.

The presence of non-metallic impurities - sulfur and phosphorus is allowed in the steel X. Their percentage in steel should not exceed 0.025% for each of these elements.

The composition of steel produced in Europe and the USA is identical to that of grade X. 102Cr6 (1.2067) tool steel is produced in Europe in accordance with European standards DIN 17350 and ISO 4957, and in the USA similar steel is designated as 52100 and is produced in accordance with ASTM A295. Foreign counterparts are allowed to contain traces of molybdenum and nickel, and the upper limit of phosphorus content is limited to 0.02%.

Evek GmbH offers to buy sheets and strips made of tool steel grades X, 102Cr6 (1.2067) or Stal 52100. The products are sold at economical prices from the manufacturer. The supplier guarantees full compliance with the range of supply, as well as ensures prompt delivery of rolled products to the consumer.

Properties and application

After hardening heat treatment, the steels under consideration acquire high hardness, which is preserved during tool sharpening. This, as well as the deep hardenability of these steels makes them widely used in the production of large-sized measuring and cutting tools (particularly knives), as well as in the bearing industry. It should be noted that steels X, 102Cr6 (1.2067) and 52100 do not have high corrosion resistance and require subsequent anti-corrosion coating.

The physical and mechanical properties of these steels:

  • Tensile strength after hardening - 1400...2100 MPa;
  • Tensile strength - 590...750 MPa;
  • Relative elongation - 11%;
  • Hardness after annealing - 223 NV;
  • Hardness after quenching - not lower than 63 HRC.

Company Evek GmbH offers to buy at economically advantageous prices from the manufacturer sheets and strips made of tool steels X, 102Cr6 (1.2067) and Stal 52100. The supplier guarantees compliance with deadlines and assortment of rolled products delivery, provides prompt transportation of products to the address set by the consumer.
