16ГМЮч steel is used: for the production of sheet products with thickness from 25 to 50 mm, intended for the manufacture of welded vessels and other structures operating at temperatures up to +510 °C.

According to TU 14-1-4826-90 the chemical composition of the ladle sample is given for steel grade 16GMUh. The chemical composition indicates the total aluminum content. The mass fraction of rare-earth metals in steel (REM) is optional and should be within the range of 0.02-0.10%. In the finished rolled steel, provided that the mechanical properties of the steel are ensured, deviations in chemical composition are allowed: in carbon ± 0.010%, in silicon ± 0.050%, in manganese ± 0.10%, in molybdenum ± 0.30%, in aluminum m0.010% On sulfur +0.0050%, on phosphorus +0.0050%.
