Austenitic steel 08X18H10, heat-resistant and corrosion-resistant. The temperature of forging: start +1220°C, end +880°C. Items with thickness up to 30 cm are cooled in air in stacks. Welding method: RDS, ADS submerged arc and gas protection, ARDS, CBS and ESW. Desired final heat treatment. For corrosion resistance and heat resistance of this steel is an analog of 12X18H10T.
Used for the manufacture of muffles and furnace parts fittings, pipe, tube, retort, exhaust manifolds, spark electrodes, spark, welded chemical equipment and large industrial containers for solutions of alkalis and acids: nitric, phosphoric, acetic, and their salts. Used very widely — from household goods to of nuclear heat exchangers boilers water-cooled reactors.
