Chilean company Sodelco registered on the Shanghai Futures Exchange (Shanghai Futures Exchange, ShFE) copper cathodes produced by its division Codelco Norte.
Sodelco is the world's largest producer of refined copper, and Codelco Norte was created in 2002 by the merger of two other divisions — Chuquicamata and Radomiro Tomic. Codelco Norte produces about 870 thousand. Tons of refined copper per year and about 19 thousand. Tons of molybdenum.
In addition to copper production Codelco Norte, in late March last year Sodelco registered product of another of its divisions — Salvador.
