According to TU 14-1-4408-88 the chemical composition is given for steel grade 10Х3ГНМЮА. The presence of tungsten to 0.20%, titanium to 0.30% and vanadium to 0.050% are not a defect. In the finished pipe billet, deviations in chemical composition are allowed: by carbon +0.010%, by silicon + 0.030 / -0.020%, by manganese ± 0.050%, by aluminum +0.020%, by chromium ± 0.050%, by nickel -0.050%, by molybdenum ± 0.020%. The steel is smelted in an electric arc furnace or in a main open-hearth furnace, followed by treatment in a ladle with synthetic slags and liquid ligature.
