30Х3МФСА steel is used: for the production of hot-rolled calibrated steel used for the manufacture of parts for shipbuilding, special and military equipment in the heat-treated and nitride state.

According to ADU8-TU, the chemical composition is given for steel grade 30X3MFSA. In the steel grade 30X3MFSA-SH, the mass fraction of sulfur is not more than 0.015%, phosphorus - no more than 0.025%, copper - no more than 0.25%. The presence in the steels of 30X3MFSA and 30X3MFSA-III grades of residual titanium mass fraction up to 0.030% and tungsten up to 0.20% is not a defective feature. Permissible deviations from the norms of chemical composition in accordance with GOST 4543.

|Features of heat treatment||In accordance with an order of hot-rolled steel АДУ8 THAT put in the heat-treated and without heat treatment, and calibrated in the released condition. Brinell hardness number hot rolled, heat treated steel should not exceed 269 HB (indentation diameter not less than 3.7 mm).|
